Gym Rants & Shark Bait

Sooo….Have you been watching Shark Week?

It’s really intense. I’m completely terrified of sharks. I think they’re interesting and all, but I really want nothing to do with them. I’m pretty sure I would lose my mind if I ever saw this in real life

While I was watching Shark Week this morning, I decided that if I were to ever come in contact with a shark, I’d probably lose the battle and this just isn’t acceptable.

While coming up with my back-up plan for the next time I meet a shark, I realized I probably need to work on my arm muscles at the gym a little more because this just isn’t cuttin’ it.

So I did what anyone would do, I hit the gym. I never really go to the gym for the actual gym floor, I only go for the classes. Kinda silly, but whatever…I’m okay with it. I was ready for this adventure.

I was really excited about it.

So I got to the gym, picked up a magazine and went over to the elliptical machine. Everything was fine and dandy until I opened up to an article where they literally interviewed a bunch of women who go to parties all the time and stay thin.

There were some pieces of crazy thrown into that article and I couldn’t even believe a magazine is allowed to put an article that harmful into the public eye. I think it’s really sad a magazine would display these behaviors for young girls to read and think it’s normal.

Anyway, after that article I closed the magazine and put it away and went back to the elliptical when suddenly I hear the guy next to me blow his nose. Ok, that’s fine…everyone does that. Until I notice he blew his nose into the gym’s towel. That everyone uses. On their faces.
