Grocery Planner

Happy Saturday!!

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend. Yesterday, I spent my day just like I said I would…a whole bunch of rest! A certain someone decided he needed some rest too:

It’s been about 2 months since he last got a hair cut and even though I love when he’s all fluffy and sheep-like, I think it’s time to get a huuuuurrrrrrcut.

Though, I have to admit….I am way overdue for a haircut too. These split ends are taking on a life of their own!

Yesterday I took a look into my refridgerator and realized it’s looking a little…empty. When I’m having too many moments of “there’s noooooooothing to eatttttt” and “forget it, I’ll just make oatmeal,” I know it’s time to go grocery shopping. As I mentioned in my Meal Planning: How I Make a Plan post, I find that grocery shopping is less stressful (and cheaper) when I have a plan for dinners ahead of time.

Here are my dinners for this week:

Meal Plan 10/9-10/15

Sunday:

Buffalo Shrimp Salad

Monday:

Angel Hair Pasta w/ Shrimp & Tomato Cream Sauce

Tuesday:

Tomato Basil Salad w/ Butternut Squash

Wednesday:

Leftover Angel Hair Pasta

Thursday:

Free Night

Friday:

Homemade Minestrone Soup

Simple & Delicious Cheese Bread

Saturday:

Sweet & Sour Chicken

Of course, this meal plan will definitely change…but I wanted to write out a quick meal plan so grocery shopping would be a little easier this week.

Now I am off to go do cheer-related activities for the team I coach. It’s going to be a short weekend! Hope you all have a great Saturday!

Questions:

What are your Saturday plans?

Do you normally keep weekends as relax time, or do you use them to get everything done that’s leftover from the week?
