2011 has been a crazy year. I haven’t been blogging for a full year so I don’t have a bunch of posts to show you (and a lot of the things that happened this year I probably would have decided weren’t blog-able anyway), but I do have my memories.
2011 has been a test of strength, for sure. I think the theme for this year was strength, whether I wanted it to be that way or not. This year I learned I can’t control everything in my life.
I’m a little bit stronger, but I don’t think I had a choice. When your faced with a difficult situation, we often don’t have a choice whether or not we will deal with it. We just do.
I’ve had so many great memories this year, as well. I got the most amazing job, came back to a volunteer coaching position I love, spent a lot of time with my fantastic family, had fun times with friends and grew up a ton.
This is a short post, but tomorrow I’m going to post the things I want to do in 2012. Not resolutions, just things I’d like to accomplish. I hope you all have a happy and safe New Years Eve.
Goodbye 2011
