What I Ate Wednesday #32

Good morning! I hope you all are having a fantastic week!! My life lately has been pretty hectic and busy so I haven’t been posting as much as I’d like to. Luckily, after this weekend I will have so much more free time and I’ll be able to post normal again. Last night I spent my life doing homework, then taking a break to bake a cake, then more homework. Good stuff! Today I have my WIAW post and later I’ll have my last snack recipe of this month for you! Now, enough talk and onto the food!!

Breakfast:

For breakfast I made my usual delicious bowl of oatmeal with pumpkin, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg topped with strawberries, blueberries (there are 4 cartons of blueberries in the fridge. 4.), pecans and peanut butter! Of course there was also coffee on the side (I’m a zombie without it). I realize that I eat this bowl of oatmeal almost everyday but, hey, it’s easy and delicious in the morning. It also keeps me full for a while, which is super necessary because after I eat breakfast I don’t get a chance to eat again until around 2.

Lunch:

Before work I threw together angel hair pasta, shrimp and tomato sauce and took it to-go. Surprisingly, this really filled me up! I was going to throw some veggies into the pasta but I realized every time I do that I end up pushing them aside anyway. For some reason I’m not a fan of veggies in pasta (most of the time) but I still put it in to see if I like it. Weird!

Dinner:

I wasn’t expecting to be home for dinner but that ended up being the case so I heated up some leftover fish and made a taco/burrito. The tortilla was awkwardly sized so I’m not sure which it would be. I finally got a little veggies into my day with lettuce and tomato, but I definitely packed on the cheese. Cheese is the best part of anything!

What is the most delicious thing you’ve eaten today?

  1. Hmm, wonder what it is about pasta and veggies? I’m not a huge fan of the combo either (unless you count tomato sauce as a veggie). I DO love them as a side with a pasta dish, though. Which is sort of the same thing if you think about it, yet seems so different…

I’m not sure, I love veggies on the side too but for some reason whenever I throw them into the pasta I push it aside! Well, except for spinach. I always love spinach

  2. Yumm! Everything looks delish as usual :D

  3. The oatmeal bowl looks like heaven. Speaking to my heart with that one. And who cares if you have it every day? Whatever you like, right? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
