I don’t know if I’ve ever felt so prepared for a Monday.
Even though I am sad to see spring break leave, I am happy to be so prepared for this week!
First of all, I’m participating in a 7-Day Green Smoothie Challenge this week. Basically, I’m adding a green smoothie to my day, everyday for (surprise!) 7 days. I have been craving fruits & veggies lately, so I think it’ll be good to add some more into my day. I do love drinking green smoothies but my lame blender takes forever to blend them up so I don’t make them as often as I’d like to. My Mondays are always really busy so last night I prepared my smoothie for today.

in the smoothie:
1 small banana, frozen
1 cup frozen berries
handful of fresh spinach
apple juice
almond milk
protein powder
cinnamon
vanilla extract (not pictured)
peanut butter
I decided to throw the spinach, banana and berries into a bag and freeze it, but leave all of the other ingredients out on the counter (besides the almond milk) for this morning. This morning I threw the bag’s contents into the blender and added all of the extras.
I also threw together a few yogurt add-ins to have with my yogurt & smoothie for breakfast.
I planned out all of my work & projects I have to do this week….now I just need to stick with the plan.

Such a shame my body does not tolerate cinnamon – it would be the next ingredient for my green smoothie :/
I am lovin’ the stages of procrastination:) So true:-)!
Can you have nutmeg? I bet that would be great in a pumpkin or apple smoothie!
I like the idea of that challenge! I was getting halfway decent at making a green smoothie for my morning snack each day…but then I ran out of my favorite protein/shake powder. I believe that is stage 3: Excuses.

I try a different blend everyday. Monday’s was a total fail, way too much milk and protein powder. I do like adding the protein powder because it definitely helps the smoothie fill me up and makes a great breakfast! Haha glad you liked the procrastination stages!! I thought it was hilarious when I saw it. So me!
